INC Research's Stacey Adkins Receives "Outstanding Leadership in Clinical Research by a CRA" Award from ACRP

Raleigh, N.C., April 19, 2012 - INC Research, LLC, a therapeutically focused clinical research organization (CRO) with a Trusted Process® for delivering reliable results, is proud to announce Stacey Adkins, RN, CCRA, Senior Clinical Team Leader for infectious disease and general medicine at INC Research, has received the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) Outstanding Leadership in Clinical Research by a CRA Award. The award recognizes individuals who have made exceptional leadership/practice contributions that have furthered the vision and mission of ACRP.

"We are extremely proud to have Stacey recognized for her leadership in clinical research," said James Ogle, CEO, INC Research. "As the eyes of the company, CRAs tell us what they see on site and are responsible for submitting clean data quickly. Stacey and her teams have consistently delivered high-quality work for our sponsors study after study, which is a testament to her dedication and leadership."

A CRA for more than eight years, Adkins was recognized for her promotion of professional growth and her highly successful involvement in all aspects of monitoring. These include managing the training and performance of multiple research team members and assisting with site selection and initiation with the goal of delivering on-time data collection, query resolution, trip report submissions and database locks for global Phase II-IV studies. In addition to therapeutic experience in infectious disease, oncology, central nervous system, cardiology, general medicine, and cardiovascular surgery, Adkins has been a study coordinator at the site level and worked in intensive care unit and emergency room settings.

"I am honored to be recognized by my peers with this prestigious industry award," said Adkins. "I take pride in leading my team to deliver and exceed sponsor expectations and am very fortunate to have the support of my peers and a position with a leading CRO that shares my same passion for quality."

The Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) and the Academy of Physicians in Clinical Research (APCR) presented their respective 2012 Annual Awards recognizing individual excellence in a variety of clinical research enterprise settings at the ACRP 2012 Global Conference & Exhibition in Houston, Texas, during a joint reception on April 15.
